The training allowed young players to experience golf with several
of their friends, and introduced them to the rules and nature of golf under the
supervision of club coaches.
Ayla also devoted a special, extensive training session for
children with Down Syndrome, in addition to holding a program at the Rise-Ropes
amusement park, where they had a day of fun and activity.
The Executive Director of Ayla Oasis for development, Sahel
Doudin, said that the trainings were the first of their kind to be organized
and targeted at a new category of children and young people.
The integrated program is aimed at promoting and developing
golf, the statement said.
He added that the training program included group lectures explaining
the rules of golf, which had been supervised by the Ayla Club technical team
with the participation of club members.
He said that Ayla has strengthened its professional
technical and training personnel at the Ayla Golf Academy recently with South
African coach Jason Vermeulen, who holds a professional certificate from the
PGA Golf Players Association with many years of experience in a selection of
international courses and academies.
In addition to a competitive competition, Ayla said that it
continues to pursue the development of golf at the national level.
This is being done in cooperation with relevant institutions
to spread it to a generation of talented Jordanian youth and to support
participation in international, regional, and local activities.
