AMMAN — On Friday, the
Barracudas and the
Spartans played a
game to remember at the final of the Jordan Bowl of the Jordanian League of
American Football.

The game was the highest-scoring game in the history of
JLAF, with
a final score of 34–32 for the Barracudas. The intensity of the game led to two
overtime periods.
Both teams were ready for a big game, and pressure from the fans
set the mood for a highly competitive match. The Spartans' tricky offense was
impressive, and their dominating defense came up short by two points
only.
The Barracudas, who are known for their highly organized offense
and their speed, ended with a tie of 26-26 in the official game time before
winning in overtime.
On the other hand, it was noticeable that the Spartans were the dominating
team this season, with high interest and support from fans and media.
With the conclusion of the Jordan Bowl, the Jordanian League of
American Football is set to announce multiple international games in the next
few months in addition to a youth flag football program that aims to raise more
awareness about American football in the Kingdom of Jordan.
