ElShebli was awarded Jordan's fourth medal after Omar Qarada and Abdulkarim Khattab won gold in weightlifting and Khetam Abu Awad won bronze in table tennis.
ElShebli lifted 241kg, the same weight as Iranian Mansour, but ElShebli weighed less than his Iranian opponent, who finished second, with Iraqi Faris Hassoun taking the bronze medal.
This is ElShebli’s fourth medal at the Paralympics, having previously won two silver medals in shot put at Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008, and a bronze in weightlifting in Rio 2016.
