AMMAN — The
Asian Handball Federation voted Jordan among the top three federations in Asia during its recent online general assembly meeting, which was held in the presence of all participating federations.

The
Jordanian Federation was selected due to its great successes in the past four years, including its continuity of holding various activities such as local tournaments for skilled players, multiple age groups and positions, and for both men and women.
This was also due to their offering of training courses for referees and support and sponsoring of national teams, and their participation in the official tournaments.
The federation’s vote, which takes place every four years and is announced during the general assembly meeting, was widely welcomed by the present members. They also commended the significant role played by the Jordanian Federation in caring for Handball.
President of the International Handball Federation, Hassan Moustafa, attended the meeting and shared his appreciation for the participation of the Jordanian Handball Federation.
He highlighted the active role the Jordanian Federation plays in the International Handball Federation, particularly in the training courses it offers. He commended that last course which was the International Coaches Course that.
