AMMAN — The national table tennis team headed to
Doha on Monday to participate in the
Asian Championship, which will carry on until October 5.

The national team delegation consists of Ibrahim Al-Sarairah; who is heading of the delegation, delegation administrator; Hanadi Toufaha, and coaches; Mustafa Rida and Yousef Asaad.
The men’s team is being represented by Zaid Abu Yaman, Ziad Aziz, Mohammad Bani Slameh, Khaled Bassem, and Hassan Hourani.
The women’s team is represented by Baraa Al-Widyan, Taymaa Abu Yaman, and Yara Al-Damisi.
The national team has intensified its preparations in recent weeks to have a good performance at the Asian Championships, which brings together the finest players on the continent.
The national team includes Ameer Jabr, Talal Shatara, and Mohammad Shaheen, who beat the Saudi team in three matches in group III, which also included Syria.
Talal Shatara won the first match 6-2, 6-2 and Amir Jabr won with the same score on the second match. The national team has also won their doubles match 6-2, 6-0.
