AMMAN — The
International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) announced that Jordan will host the federation’s upcoming general
assembly meeting in Amman, from December 4–6.

Jordan was chosen from a group of federations that
applied including Spain, Portugal, England, Italy, Argentina, Tunisia, and
Iraq.
During the meeting, decisions regarding the list of host
cities for the 2025 World Table Tennis Championships Finals, the 2024 World
Veteran Championships, and the 2024 World Youth Championships will all be
discussed and finalized.
According to the ITTF website, Tarik Al-Zouby, president of
the Jordan Table Tennis Federation, said: “We are honored and humbled to have
been selected to host the first-ever ITTF Summit, and we are excited that the
future of our sport will be shaped in Amman. The Jordan Table Tennis Federation
will be ready to welcome delegates from 226 Member Associations. We will ensure
a comfortable experience for all, and we look forward to hosting the entire
table tennis family in December.”
