AMMAN — National team players Shergo Al-Kurdi and Hamzah Salman will take part in the
Asia Pacific Championship, in Dubai from November 3 to 6. The championship is considered one of the strongest amateur tournaments, with a number of elite golfers ranked in the world’s top 10 taking part.

Kurdi will arrive in Dubai on Sunday, after wrapping up a training camp in London, while Salman will be arriving form Amman after taking third place at the Jordan Open Golf Championship, which was held at Ayla in Aqaba.
Kurdi has noted in several interviews that he is looking to bag a medal and did not hide his desire and determination to win the tournament. Kurdi participated in the last version of the championship in Singapore, while it will be the first time Salman is participating.
Both players are showing a desire to deliver a strong performance and gain experience from playing with some of the most brilliant players in the world.
The national team’s manager Amer Radi noted that the championship is the strongest in Asia, and having two Jordanian players participate is a huge achievement for Jordanian golf, which has begun to evolve significantly.
He emphasized the fact that Salman is an excellent player and that he is still young with a great future ahead of him, while Kurdi has previous experience at world championships, so he is looking for a new breakthrough at the tournament.
