AMMAN — On
Sunday, the
Jordanian National Karate team headed to Dubai to participate in
the Senior Karate World Championship that will take place from November 16 till 21.

The team was headed by
Coach Manar Shaath, Coach Ahmad Ibrahim, along with team manager Mohammad
Ibrahim and the physical therapist Muaath Al-Madani.
Ten players will
represent the national team:
Afeef Gaith for the
under 60kg category.
Abdallah Hammad for
the under 67kg category.
Hassan Massarweh for
the under 75kg category.
Mazen Al-Juaaedi for
the under 84kg category.
Joud Al-Durrous for
the under 61kg category.
Huda Jaber for the under
68kg category.
Mahmmod Al-Sajjan for
the over 84kg category.
Ahmad Shadeed, Zaki
Abu Qaoud, and Abdelrahman Al-Masattfeh will be competing in the groups'
category.
Four Jordanian judges
will take part in the world championship, and they are Abdelhafeez Alia,
Ibrahim Al-Duqus, Hanadi Al-Banna, and Faaeq Al-Jaafari.
The national team
intensified preparations in the past few days to elevate physical and technical
readiness for the world championship, including around 100 players and
representing 117 countries.
