AMMAN — The national junior beach handball team qualified on
Monday for the World Championship which will be held in Greece next June.
The team qualified after defeating the Indian team 2–0 at
the end of the Asian Junior Championship that was held in Tehran.
The national team came in second place after winning three
games and losing two matches. The competition included six teams: Iran,
Pakistan, Qatar, India, Afghanistan, and Jordan.
