AMMAN — Zain Jordan honored its athletes with disabilities who are
supported by the company after returning with a record of outstanding
achievements during their participation in the Paralympic Games - Tokyo 2020.

Zain Jordan CEO, Fahad Al-Jassem,
received the champion
Omar Qaradah, who won the gold medal in weightlifting in
the 49kg category, and champion Abdul Karim Khattab, the winner of the gold
medal in weightlifting in the weight category under 88kg, and the champion
Khatam Abu Awad, an employee in the Commercial Support Department of Zain
Jordan, who won the bronze medal in Table tennis, in addition to Zain
Paralympic champions Tharwat Al-Hajjaj, Fatima Al-Azzam, Suhail Al-Nashash, and
Moataz Al-Junaidi.
Al-Jassem expressed Zain's pride in
its champions who shed light on Jordan’s sports sector with the medals they
won, stressing that Zain will continue to support them, as this support began
years ago to develop their skills and overcome any obstacles they may face, to
achieve further accomplishments locally and globally.
Zain is looking forward to enrolling
more Paralympic champions under its sponsorship umbrella, based on its social
responsibility towards the sports sector and people with disabilities, and
stemming from the company’s deep belief in the importance of including people
with disabilities in its various initiatives and to empower them in achieving
their goals.
