Users will find a new "Status" button on the sharing page within the Spotify app, enabling them to add a song to their WhatsApp status easily.
How Does It Work?
Select the Song: After selecting the song in Spotify, a "Status" option will appear in the sharing menu.
Create Preview: Once the status is selected, WhatsApp will automatically create a preview of the song to be shared.
Content: The preview will display essential information such as the song title, artist name, and album cover, making it easier for viewers to recognize the song.
Play the Song: WhatsApp will also add a "Play on Spotify" button in the status, allowing viewers to listen to the song directly on the Spotify app with a single click.
When Will It Be Available?
The new feature is still under development for iPhone users and is expected to be available in a future app update.
