While the chance of precipitation is low, light, scattered rain showers may fall in western areas and parts of the northeastern Badia in the morning, with some high-altitude areas possibly seeing brief flurries. Winds will be moderate northwesterly, occasionally picking up.

As night falls, cloud cover will gradually decrease, but the cold will persist, with widespread frost and ice formation expected, even in parts of the northern and central Jordan Valley. Winds will shift to light northeasterly.

The Jordan Meteorological Department has issued warnings for several hazards, including poor visibility due to fog in highlands and plain areas, icy and slippery roads caused by freezing conditions, and dust reducing visibility in desert regions.

On Tuesday, temperatures will inch upward, though the weather will remain bitterly cold across most regions, while the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will experience relatively milder conditions. High-altitude clouds may appear, and southeasterly winds will be moderate to occasionally brisk.

A slight warming trend will continue into Wednesday, though temperatures will still be lower than usual for this time of year. The highlands and plains will stay chilly, while the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will see relatively comfortable weather. Winds will be moderate and northwesterly.

By Thursday, temperatures will rise further but will remain 3-4 C below seasonal averages. The day will be cold in the highlands and plains, relatively cool in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with scattered high-altitude clouds. Winds will shift from northeasterly to northwesterly in the afternoon.

Today’s temperatures are expected to range between 5C and -2C in East Amman, while West Amman will see lows of -3C. Northern and southern highlands will endure freezing conditions, with temperatures dipping to -4C. The Badia regions will see a range of 9C to 0C, while the plains will hover between 7C and -1C.

The northern Jordan Valley will reach 13C, while the southern Jordan Valley will be slightly warmer at 17C. The Dead Sea will see highs of 16C, and Aqaba will be the warmest at 18C.
