Amman- Temperatures are expected to rise slightly on Thursday, reaching seasonal averages, while cold conditions will prevail across most regions.

According to the Jordan Meteorological Department, the weather will be relatively cold in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with high-altitude clouds appearing. Winds will be moderate easterly, shifting to northwesterly in the evening.
The department warned of frost formation during the early morning hours over high mountain areas, parts of the northern Jordan Valley, the eastern desert, and the plains.
On Friday, the weather will remain cold over the highlands and plains, while the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba will experience slightly warmer conditions. Some clouds will appear at varying altitudes, and winds will be moderate northwesterly.
Saturday’s forecast indicates continued cold weather across most areas, with relatively cold conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Scattered showers are expected in the morning over northern Jordan and parts of the northeastern desert. Winds will be moderate northwesterly, occasionally becoming active.
By Sunday, temperatures will rise slightly, bringing relatively cold weather to most regions and mild conditions to the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Low-altitude clouds will appear over northern and central Jordan, and winds will be moderate southeasterly.
The maximum and minimum temperatures expected today are 14 C/4 C in East Amman, 12 C/2 C in West Amman, 12 C/1 C in the Northern Highlands, 11 C/0 C in the Sharah Highlands, 17 C/2 C in desert areas, and 15 C/4 C in the plains.
In the Jordan Valley, temperatures will reach 20 C/2 C in the north and 23 C/9 C in the south. The Dead Sea is expected to record 22 C/8 C, while the Gulf of Aqaba will see 22 C/11 C.
