The head of the weather forecasting department at the Jordan Meteorological Department, Ayman Sbeih, stated that with the deepening of the extremely cold polar air mass today, Saturday, temperatures will continue to drop significantly. The maximum temperatures in Amman are expected to range between 5 to 6 degrees Celsius.

In the higher elevations, temperatures will be around 2°C, in the desert areas about 8°C, and in the Jordan Valley, temperatures will range between 13 to 16°C, with Aqaba experiencing around 18°C.
Sbeih confirmed that the weather will be rainy, especially in the western parts of the kingdom. It is expected that there will be intermittent snowfall over the mountain elevations, with light snowflakes that may accumulate in limited areas on the higher mountain peaks.
He also mentioned that the winds will be moderate from the west, with occasional gusts, potentially raising dust in the desert regions. By night, the chances of precipitation will decrease, and the weather will turn very cold. The maximum temperature in Amman will be 10°C, while in the higher mountainous areas, it will be -3°C, and in the plains, it will be around 0°C. In the Jordan Valley, temperatures will be between 4 to 7°C.
