Amman- A slight drop in temperatures will be recorded across the Kingdom on Monday, with moderate spring conditions prevailing in most regions.اضافة اعلان

The Jordan Meteorological Department reported that relatively hot weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, accompanied by medium- and high-altitude cloud cover and northwesterly moderate winds, occasionally active in desert areas.

The Kingdom is expected to come under the influence of a khamasini low-pressure system starting Tuesday, resulting in a noticeable rise in temperatures.

According to the department’s daily report, the weather will turn relatively hot across most regions and hot in the desert areas, the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Medium- and high-altitude clouds will remain visible, with moderate southwesterly winds becoming active at intervals, particularly in the eastern desert, where they may stir up dust.

By Wednesday, the impact of the khamasini system is forecast to intensify, leading to another rise in temperatures, reaching 11 to 13 degrees Celsius above seasonal averages. The weather will be generally hot and dusty, with widespread cloud cover at medium and high altitudes. Southwesterly winds will be active and may produce strong gusts in the eastern parts of the country.

On Thursday, temperatures are expected to decrease slightly, while dusty and warm conditions will persist across most regions. The weather will remain hot in the desert, Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Medium- and high-altitude clouds will continue to appear, with active southwesterly winds and occasional strong gusts in eastern areas.

Forecast maximum and minimum temperatures for Monday indicate mild to hot conditions across the Kingdom. East Amman is expected to record temperatures between 28 C and 16 C, while West Amman will range from 26 C to 14 C. In the highlands, the Northern region will see 23 C / 14 C and the Sharah Highlands 24 C / 13 C.

Desert areas will be warmer at 31 C / 15 C, and the plains are forecasted at 28 C / 16 C. The Northern Jordan Valley will experience 33 C / 18 C, with the Southern Valley reaching up to 36 C / 20 C.

Temperatures at the Dead Sea will range from 34 C to 19 C, and Aqaba will be among the hottest at 35 C / 21 C.
