100,000 Perform Isha and Taraweeh Prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque

The Islamic Waqf Department in Jerusalem estimated that "more than 100,000 performed the Isha and Taraweeh prayers within the precincts of Al-Aqsa Mosque," the majority of whom were from the holy city of Jerusalem and from inside the 1948 territories. The Israeli authorities prevent thousands of citizens from the West Bank governorates from reaching Jerusalem to perform prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
