100K Israelis seek psychological treatment, over 300K admitted since Oct. 7

TEL AVIV – The Israeli Broadcasting Authority (IBA) revealed on Sunday that since October 7, 2023, the Mental Health First Aid Israel (MHFA) has received over 100,000 requests for psychological treatment.اضافة اعلان

The Israeli publication, Haaretz, also emphasized the failure of Israel's mental health system since the start of the Gaza war earlier this month, Al-Ghad reported.

Due to an increase in demand for psychological health services in the country, dozens of mental health professionals have recently left for Britain.

Furthermore, mental health center directors disclosed that 300,000 psychiatric patients were admitted after October 7.
