AVIV—On Monday, 12 prominent Israeli human rights organizations signed an open
letter accusing Israel of failing to comply with the International Court of
Justice’s (ICJ) provisional ruling, Khaberni reported.

The
ICJ had ordered Israel to facilitate access to humanitarian aid in Gaza. The
court’s requirements included measures to prevent intentional harm to
civilians, immediate humanitarian aid to Gaza, and preservation of evidence
related to wrongful acts during Israel’s campaign against Hamas.
Despite
this legal obligation, Israel has not implemented the court’s measures, leading
to a 50 percent drop in humanitarian aid to Gaza following the ruling. The
letter calls for an immediate ceasefire and urges Israel to abide by the ICJ
order to mitigate the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.
