According to Jonathan Crickx, Chief of Communication at
UNICEF Palestine, Gazan children experience symptoms such as acute anxiety,
lack of appetite, sleep difficulties, emotional outbursts, and fear caused by
the sound of bombings.
Even before the ongoing war, UNICEF identified 500,000
children in Gaza in need of mental health and
psychosocial support. Today,
nearly every child requires this assistance, totaling more than one million
children.
