AVIV —
Yedioth Ahronoth, citing the
Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF), released the
latest statistics on Tuesday morning, reporting that 20 of its soldiers were
inadvertently
killed in Gaza by friendly fire.

This
occurred after the IOF had an accidental exchange of gunfire with a group of
its soldiers who were mistakenly identified as
Palestinian resistance members.
They
were unintentionally
targeted by gunfire from the air and tanks, and some even
faced gunfire from military engineering fighters, Al-Ghad reported. The
Occupation forces justified their losses, according to the Hebrew newspaper,
citing the massive forces present in the field, the ongoing intense fighting
with elements of the Palestinian resistance, and the lack of coordination among
the occupation forces.
Meanwhile,
"Times of Israel" announced that the number of occupation forces
killed since it began its ground
operation in Gaza on October 27 has reached
105, totaling 434 since October 7.
