The Authority has documented 55 new cases of Palestinian arrests, including two
women and former prisoners, who were taken into custody as a form of pressure
to force a family member to surrender, starting from Friday evening until the
early hours of Saturday, Khaberni reported.
The statement emphasized that the arrest
campaign was accompanied by acts of abuse, assaults, and threats against
detainees and their families. It also included extensive acts of sabotage and
destruction in Palestinian homes, particularly in Al-Fawwar camp and the town
of
Beit Ummar in Hebron, which witnessed raids on dozens of houses.
