In its daily statistical report on the number of martyrs and wounded due to the Israeli aggression on Gaza, the ministry noted that a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble or lying in the streets, with ambulance and civil defense crews unable to reach them.
The ministry confirmed that the total toll of the Israeli aggression since October 7, 2023, has risen to 51,305 martyrs and 117,096 injured. Of those, 1,928 martyrs and 5,055 injured have been recorded since the Israeli forces resumed their aggression on Gaza on March 18.
Meanwhile, Dr. Ahmad Al-Farra, Director of Al-Tahrir Hospital at Nasser Medical Complex, warned that children in Gaza are experiencing the most severe stage of malnutrition, and that it is becoming increasingly difficult to monitor them medically due to shortages in medication and infant formula.
He affirmed that the Strip is currently in the fifth stage of malnutrition—the most critical stage according to the World Health Organization's classification. He stressed that the ongoing blockade on food and medical supplies places Gaza’s children in an extremely dangerous situation.
