In his statements to the press, he mentioned that
approximately 70,000 tonnes of waste are piled up in these areas, Khaberni
reported.
Sarraj pointed out that the continuation of the aggression
and the fuel crisis pose a challenge to providing basic services to citizens.
He called on the international community to urgently intervene and provide
fuel, electricity generators, and machinery dedicated to removing rubble,
opening streets, and providing water and sanitation services to citizens.
Sarraj had previously stated that the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) deliberate bombed and destroyed most of the heavy and medium
machinery that works in municipal services, at a time when the municipality
already suffers from a severe shortage of machinery.
