GAZA – In a recent statement from the spokesperson of the
Ministry of Interior in Gaza, it has been revealed that nearly 900,000 Palestinians are still residing in the Gaza and North Gaza governorates, amidst the ongoing turmoil.

Furthermore, the spokesperson confirmed that there are currently 225 shelters in Gaza, distributed across all governorates, including 97 shelters in the Gaza and North Gaza governorates, housing around 311,000 displaced individuals.
Disturbingly, those residing in these shelters have not been spared from the assaults by the
occupying forces.
The Ministry also highlighted that the world only witnesses about 30 percent of the actual atrocities committed by the occupying forces due to the deliberate targeting of journalists and disruptions to the internet and electricity.
Additionally, all bakeries in Gaza and North Gaza have come to a halt after being targeted by the occupying forces, coupled with the
unavailability of fuel and flour, posing a severe threat to the lives of 900,000 Palestinians.
Furthermore, the so-called "safe passage" that the occupying forces claimed to provide has transformed into a death trap following the crimes committed by the occupying forces.
The Ministry also issued a warning about the potential execution of further massacres and psychological pressure by the occupying forces to force the residents of North Gaza and Gaza to abandon their homes. The question arises, where can they go? As there is no safe haven within the enclave, and the south is incapable of accommodating such a massive population influx under the current blockade.
