— The Lebanese National News Agency reported on Friday that complete
calm prevails in the
Ain al-Hilweh refugee camp for Palestinian refugees, with
a new ceasefire agreement still in effect.

The official agency
stated that the calm was interrupted by gunfire from machine guns and the
detonation of a bomb in the early morning hours, following the commencement of
the ceasefire agreement at 6:00p.m. local time on Thursday, Aawsat reported.
The agency noted that the
clashes inside the camp, between the "Fatah" movement and groups
described as "Islamic," have resulted in the death of 17 individuals
and the injury of 150 others since they erupted last week.
