Palestine's Chief Islamic Justice, Mahmoud Al-Habbash, affirmed that Jordan and Egypt, along with the entire Arab and Islamic bloc, have stood and continue to stand as a strong barrier against plans to displace the Palestinian people. He emphasized their firm rejection of such proposals, reflecting a historical commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause.
According to Al-Mamlaka news outlet, Al-Habbash stated on Friday that the primary objective behind displacement is to eliminate Palestinian presence, which is a direct violation of international law. He praised the stance of all Arab countries that oppose such plans and remain committed to Palestinian rights.
He further highlighted that the position of Arab nations, particularly Jordan, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia, sends a clear message that Palestinian rights are non-negotiable and that displacement and liquidation schemes will not succeed in the face of strong Arab and Islamic solidarity.
Al-Habbash also stressed that Islamic unity is a strategic necessity in confronting threats to the Muslim world. He added that reducing ideological and sectarian divisions would contribute to rebuilding Islamic ranks on solid foundations of understanding and cooperation.
