GAZA – On Saturday,
Al-Qassam Brigades announced that it sniped an Israeli occupation soldier with a heavy-caliber
“
M99” sniper rifle in Sheikh Ajleen.

This announcement is the first from Al-Qassam
regarding this usage, Al-Ghad reported.
According to “Gun Wiki”, the M99 rifle is a
semi-automatic, anti-material rifle with a heavy caliber of 12.7 × 108 mm. It
can eliminate a target at a distance of 1600 meters within two seconds, which
means before its sound reaches the target location by 2.7 seconds.
The rifle was developed in response to a
request from the People’s Liberation Army, the armed forces of the Chinese
Communist Party.
Israeli media reported that the
Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) are receiving information about the use of Chinese
weapons by Al-Qassam Brigades.
Israeli news source, Channel 12 claimed that
the IOF seized quantities of Chinese weapons in Gaza. However, questions are
circulating about how these weapons arrived from China to Gaza in the first
place.
