The Israeli Home Front Command confirmed that sirens went off in Tel Aviv as a result of the rocket fire.
The Israeli military explained that the sirens were triggered by rockets launched from Gaza. The Israeli army added that three rockets from southern Gaza crossed into Israeli airspace, with its air force successfully intercepting one rocket, while two others fell in open areas.
Israeli Channel 12 reported that the Iron Dome defense system intercepted two rockets fired from Gaza towards Tel Aviv.
The same channel also mentioned that the operations of takeoffs and landings at Ben Gurion International Airport were disrupted due to the rocket fire from Gaza. Several commercial planes were seen circling in the air without receiving landing permission at the airport.
