GAZA —The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the resistance movement, have reported an operation conducted by their members behind the Israeli army's lines near the Erez crossing. In this operation, Al-Qassam forces engaged in combat with Israeli troops inside the separation fence near the Erez military site. They launched mortar shells and rockets, disrupting reinforcements to the targeted vehicles in the vicinity.

Notably, the Al-Qassam Brigades have also confirmed the targeting of two tanks belonging to the invading forces in northwest Gaza, setting them ablaze.
In response, the Israeli army radio has reported an ongoing armed confrontation in the Erez area in the northern Gaza Strip, accompanied by heavy mortar shell fire from Gaza towards the region.
Additionally, the Al-Qassam Brigades targeted enemy gatherings in Kibbutz "Nahal Oz" with a number of mortar shells. Israeli media sources have reported that mortar shells struck an army gathering near Erez and confirmed an active armed clash in the Erez area in the northern Gaza Strip.
