GAZA – The Spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Obaida, said on Monday that fighters had destroyed 60 Israeli military vehicles, including 10 armored carriers in the last 72 hours.

In a recording played by Al Jazeera, Obaida said fierce clashes continued on several fronts in the Gaza Strip with Qassam fighters inflicting casualties among Israeli soldiers.
“We set an ambush against infantry forces southwest of Gaza City last Saturday,” he said.
“Our fighters heard the cries and calls for help from enemy soldiers.”
Obaida said they suspected that Israel had bombed its own forces on the ground, thinking that some of its soldiers were captured. He added that fighters had targeted an Israeli armored carrier, engaged with its soldiers, and killed at least 7 of them.
He added that 25 elite forces fighters carried out an attack at Al-Rantisi Hospital on Sunday afternoon. He said one resistance fighter had been killed in the attack that had targeted 4 soldiers disembarking from an armored vehicle outside the hospital.
“The hysterical state in which the enemy is conducting its crimes is an indicator of its lack of conviction in victory.”
“The enemy's massacre against our people will be the beginning of its end.”
