AMMAN — On Tuesday, the Egyptian national
seismological network recorded a 6.0 magnitude
earthquake on the Richter scale
that hit many Egyptian provinces, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

The head of the National Institute of Astronomical Research
and Geophysics, Gad Al-Qadi, said that the earthquake was recorded at 7:32am
local time in several governorates of Egypt, noting that the earthquake site
was east of the Mediterranean.
Qadi explained that the tremor had not resulted in any loss
of life and property.
