The Arab League stressed the need to secure the Palestinian people's presence on their land, break the deadly Israeli siege imposed on them for 16 consecutive months of genocide, and unite efforts to implement the Palestinian government's plan for relief, recovery, reconstruction, and development.

This statement was made during the launch of an aid convoy aimed at supporting and assisting the Palestinian people in Gaza, during a visit by an Arab League delegation led by the Assistant Secretary-General in Rafah, Egypt. The delegation was joined by several assistant secretaries, the Palestinian Ambassador to the Arab League, Ambassador Muhannad Al-Aklouk, a number of directors from the Arab League's general secretariat, Egyptian Minister of Health Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, and Egyptian Minister of Social Solidarity Maya Morsi, in line with the decisions of the Arab Summit and the Councils of Arab Ministers of Health and Social Development.
The delegation conducted an inspection tour of the customs warehouse of the Egyptian Red Crescent, in addition to heavy equipment and ready-made houses lined up on the Egyptian side of the Rafah crossing, prepared to enter the Gaza Strip. The delegation also met with a number of wounded individuals at Al-Arish Hospital as a result of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
The Arab League emphasized that it has never delayed in supporting the Palestinian people, highlighting Egypt's efforts and the Egyptian Red Crescent in coordinating and facilitating the entry of Egyptian, Arab, and international aid into Gaza, as well as receiving patients and injured individuals requiring urgent, long-term, or advanced care.
