AMMAN — On Friday, the
Arab League called on
Somalis leaders to put Somalia's interests on top of everything and embrace the dialogue as the only means to hold the general elections on time, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Secretary General of the Arab League Ahmed Aboul Gheit said that the Somali parties must settle their conflict and focus on cooperation to hold the elections before the end of this year to meet the Somali's people aspirations in stability and development.
The Arab League voiced its concerns over the current political developments in Somalia, especially the relationship between the republic's presidency and the government, to indicate that dialogue is the only means to settle conflicts and build on recent achievements.
