CAIRO — On Tuesday, the
Arab Committee responsible for the Syrian file is convening a meeting in Egypt. The meeting includes the participation of representatives from Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Lebanon, Addustour reported.

Expected to attend this meeting is
Ayman Safadi, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs.
This gathering is a follow-up to the consultative meeting held in Jeddah last April. Its purpose is to build upon the
diplomatic exchanges carried out by Arab nations with the Syrian government. The discussions will continue with the aim of reaching a political resolution to the Syrian crisis.
