At least 30 Palestinian journalists killed in Gaza since October 7

Meanwhile, Reporters Without Borders ranked Palestine as one of the most dangerous places in the world to be a journalist, placing it 156th out of 180 countries.

According to the organization, they stated, "Israel is suffocating journalism in Gaza."

They added, "While constantly risking their lives, at least 50 journalists – according to RSF estimates – have had to rush to evacuate their homes in Gaza City in recent days due to Israeli evacuation orders. They had to abandon reporting equipment, documents, and protective gear in the course of this forced displacement."
