Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership Underway

BAGHDAD, Jordan News Agency, Petra (Saturday ) — The Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership is underway in the presence of His Majesty King Abdullah II along with a number of Arab leaders.اضافة اعلان

The conference aims to restore Iraq's regional role and find economic and social integration among the countries and peoples of the region.

In addition to Jordan, Egypt, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Iran and France, the Arab League, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) are participating in the conference's deliberations.

The event is key to restoring Iraq's regional political and economic role and starting implementation of regional projects that benefit Iraq and the participating countries, Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi told the press.
