Biden to visit Israel on Wednesday

TEL AVIV — US President Joe Biden will likely arrive in Israel on Wednesday for a solidarity visit, according to Israeli media sources familiar with the arrangements.اضافة اعلان

Ynet reported on Sunday that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu invited Biden to visit Israel in the wake of the war on Gaza and tensions between Hezbollah and Israel.

If the visit materializes, Biden is expected to proceed from Israel to Egypt.
A Biden visit would be both a show of support for Israel amid the war with Hamas and a message to Iran and Hezbollah not to join the fighting.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who visited European countries last week, wanted to make a solidarity visit to Israel alongside US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, but was turned down by Israel.
