Al Jazeera's correspondent reported the martyrdom of journalist Ahmed Mansour early this Tuesday, succumbing to injuries from an Israeli airstrike on a journalists' tent in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, on Monday. In the same attack, journalist Hilmi Al-Faqawi and youth Yusuf Al-Khazindar were also martyred, and several others were injured.

Disturbing footage shared on social media shows journalist Ahmed Mansour burning alive as a result of the Israeli bombing of the journalists' tent near Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis on Monday morning.
Several journalists were injured, including Hassan Islih, Ahmed Al-Agha, Mohammad Faiq, Abdullah Al-Attar, Ihab Al-Bardini, Mahmoud Awad, Majed Qadi, and Ali Islih.
Before Mansour's martyrdom, the Gaza Government Media Office announced on Monday that the number of martyred journalists had risen to 210 since the start of the genocide against the besieged Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
The Gaza Government Media Office strongly condemned the targeting and killing of journalists and called on the International Federation of Journalists, the Arab Journalists' Union, and other media organizations worldwide to condemn "the systematic crimes against Palestinian journalists and media workers in Gaza."
It also held the Israeli occupation, the U.S. administration, and countries involved in this genocidal crime, such as the U.K., Germany, and France, "fully responsible for committing this brutal and heinous crime."
