GAZA – The Ministry of Health in Gaza said on Saturday that conditions at Al-Shifa Medical Complex had reached a catastrophic point with no communication between departments and buildings, and internal communication cut off after the surgery building was hit.

“We've got no medicines left as the last electric generator has stopped. Even water and food supplies are gone. We are now trapped inside the hospital and surrounded from all directions,” he said according to Al Quds press.
“Al-Shifa Medical Complex has ceased operation and is completely out of service.”
The complex is one of a number of hospitals in the besieged strip, which has been targeted in the last 2 days .
The General Director of Hospitals in Gaza told Al-Jazeera that massacres in hospitals were being documented, and the occupation was hindering their ability to get vital supplies.
“We are constantly in contact with UNRWA and the World Health Organization, but they apologized for not providing anything in Gaza and the northern area,” he said.
“We are in talks with the Red Cross to supply some fuel to hospitals, but they informed us of the occupation forces' refusal.”
