Unknown gunmen opened fire on worshippers outside a mosque in the village of Hayalin in the countryside of Hama, just before Taraweeh prayers on Sunday. The attack resulted in the death of four people and the injury of six others, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The observatory reported that the gunmen fled the scene on a motorcycle, while security forces sent reinforcements to the area and began pursuing the attackers. Civil defense teams evacuated the victims and transferred the injured to a hospital.
Videos of the incident were shared by activists on social media platforms, causing panic among residents in the area.
The observatory added that following this attack, the number of victims from retaliatory actions and targeted killings reached 312, including 310 men, one woman, and one child.
