Medical sources announced on Monday that the death toll in Gaza has risen to 48,284, the majority of whom are women and children, since the start of the Israeli aggression on October 7, 2023.

The same sources reported that the number of injuries has increased to 111,709 since the beginning of the assault. Meanwhile, several victims remain trapped under the rubble, with emergency and civil defense teams unable to reach them.
The sources added that, in the past 24 hours, 13 martyrs arrived at Gaza hospitals—9 bodies were recovered from the rubble, while 4 were newly killed—along with 16 injured individuals.
It is worth noting that a ceasefire in Gaza came into effect on January 19. However, since its implementation, several civilians have been killed and injured in different parts of the Strip.
