Medical sources announced today, Tuesday, that the death toll in Gaza has risen to 48,291, the majority of whom are children and women, since the beginning of the Israeli occupation's aggression on October 7, 2023.

The same sources added that the number of injuries has increased to 111,722 since the start of the aggression, while many victims remain trapped under the rubble, and emergency and civil defense teams are unable to reach them.
They also noted that, within the past 24 hours, seven martyrs (including six whose bodies were retrieved and one new martyr) and 13 injuries arrived at Gaza’s hospitals.
It is worth mentioning that the ceasefire in Gaza came into effect on January 19. However, since its enforcement, several civilians have been killed and injured in different parts of the Strip.
