According to a statement from the Islamic Waqf Department in occupied Jerusalem, dozens of radical settlers stormed Al-Aqsa, toured its courtyards, and performed provocative Talmudic rituals in its eastern area.

The Israeli occupation police continued to impose strict restrictions on the entry of worshippers to Al-Aqsa Mosque, scrutinizing their identities and detaining some at the mosque's various gates.

Palestinian religious and national organizations in Jerusalem issued urgent calls to mobilize as many people as possible to stand firm at Al-Aqsa, especially in the coming days leading up to the Hebrew "Passover" holiday, which falls on the 13th of this month.

The calls stressed the importance of intensified presence at Al-Aqsa's courtyards from the early hours of dawn to thwart the settlers' plans and prevent any attempts to bring sacrifices or perform Talmudic rituals. They warned that such attempts represent a dangerous escalation aimed at Judaizing Al-Aqsa and imposing new facts on the ground.

Al-Aqsa Mosque faces daily violations and incursions by settlers, except on Fridays and Saturdays, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, in an attempt to take full control of the mosque and divide it temporally and spatially.
