Cairo – Egypt is working on formulating a comprehensive plan aimed at assisting Palestinians in Gaza by implementing early recovery programs, debris removal, and reconstruction projects while ensuring that residents remain on their land, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Migration announced on Friday.
اضافة اعلانIn a statement, the ministry said that Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aty emphasized during a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron—held on the sidelines of a ministerial meeting on Syria in Paris on Thursday—that Cairo is developing a detailed plan for Gaza’s reconstruction without displacing its residents.
According to the statement, Abdel Aty outlined Egypt's efforts to solidify the ceasefire in Gaza in its three phases to support security and stability in the region.
The statement added that Macron expressed France’s support for these efforts, reaffirming the importance of keeping Palestinians on their land.
