Both leaders stressed the urgent need for an immediate ceasefire, the continuation of hostage and detainee exchanges, and the urgent entry of sufficient humanitarian aid. They affirmed their full support for the Arab recovery and reconstruction plan for Gaza and the necessity of implementing it immediately following the ceasefire.

The two leaders also strongly rejected the displacement of Palestinians from their land and underscored the importance of achieving a just and comprehensive resolution to the Palestinian cause through the establishment of an independent Palestinian state along the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

The spokesperson concluded that the meeting also touched on developments in Syria and Sudan, with both leaders affirming their support for the unity and stability of both countries.
