Emergency Arab Summit on February 27 Regarding Developments in the Palestinian Cause

The Arab Republic of Egypt will host an emergency Arab summit on February 27 in Cairo, following coordination with the Kingdom of Bahrain, the current chair of the Arab Summit, and the General Secretariat of the Arab League.

In a statement, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicated that after consultations and coordination at the highest levels with Arab countries in recent days, including the State of Palestine, which requested the summit, it was decided to convene the summit to address the recent and critical developments in the Palestinian cause.

The Kingdom had learned about the plan to hold an extraordinary "emergency" Arab summit at the end of this month in Cairo, chaired by Bahrain in its capacity as the current chair of the Arab Summit.
