Erdogan exempts Gaza students in Turkey from tuition fees

ISTANBUL — On Friday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan issued a decree granting Palestinian students from Gaza studying at Turkish public universities an exemption from tuition fees. According to the decree, the state will cover the second-semester fees for diploma and bachelor's students residing in Gaza who are enrolled in regular programs at any of Turkey's public higher education institutions.
