Extremist Settlers Storm al-Aqsa Mosque Under Heavy Israeli Guard

The Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem stated that dozens of settlers entered al-Aqsa Mosque in groups from the direction of the al-Magharebah Gate, under heavy guard from the Israeli occupation police.

The department added that the occupation police turned the Old City of occupied Jerusalem into a military barracks, deploying hundreds of officers at close distances, especially near the gates of al-Aqsa. The police tightened their security measures at the gates of the Old City and al-Aqsa Mosque, imposing restrictions on the entry of Palestinian worshipers.
