Extremist settlers storm Al-Aqsa under Israeli police escort

AMMAN — Dozens of extremist Jewish settlers stormedthe Al-Aqsa Mosque complex in occupied East Jerusalem early on Thursday, the first day of the holy month of Ramadan, local news outlets reported.اضافة اعلان

The Jerusalem Islamic Waqf Department said in a statement that the settlers entered Al-Aqsa from the Mughrabi Gate under the protection of the Israeli police, who restricted Muslim worshipers’ access to the mosque.

The settlers toured the Al-Aqsa courtyards and performed Talmudic rituals in a “provocative fashion”, according to the statement.

Meanwhile, the Israeli police forces guarding the settler groups searched Muslim worshipers and checked their identity cards.
