Global - The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Sunday condemned Israel's "brutal" bombing of the Al-Mawasi area in Khan Yunis in Gaza ."This bombing is evidence of a series of systematic and continuing Israeli crimes against Palestinians.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassim Budaiwi, said, "The Israeli occupation forces, through their crimes against the defenceless Palestinian people, no longer recognise any principles, laws or treaties, whether on the legal, humanitarian or moral level."
Budaiwi added that the Israeli forces continue in their "arrogance and commit heinous crimes against innocent lives," urging the international community to stop the Israeli forces' violations and hold them accountable.
He said the Palestinian cause is a "central and primary issue for Arabs and Muslims," adding that the GCC supports establishing an independent Palestinian state on the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
